Our vision is access to digital literacy and 21st-century skills for all children and young people in Liberia.
About Us
What we do
Education for Youth is bringing the power of technology and digital skills to enhance life opportunities and overcome educational disadvantage for children and young people ages 7-19 in Liberia, West Africa.
We are creating and delivering a Digital Literacy curriculum to equip children and young people with essential skills and technology to succeed and thrive in the local and global workforce.
Who we work with
We provide communities and schools with access to digital skills training, educational resources; and technology including internet services, computers, laptops and other devices, to enhance learning and overcome educational disadvantages.
Education for youth partners with community and public (state run) schools. We train teachers, parents and volunteers to run community learning centres and deliver the digital literacy curriculum.
We also plan to support individual young people through merit-based grants and a voucher scheme.
Where we work
Education for Youth works exclusively in Liberia, West Africa.
Our priority project development areas are based in the rural counties of Liberia, where educational disadvantage is at its highest.
